WalkingEdgemoor now offer guided walks with a professional guide who has worked in the area for 20 years (please click here for more information).Day 1 (Evening) Introductory talk and outline of final programme followed by dinner in hotel Day 2 Full Day Walk with Lunch Stop Walk from Haytor northwards along ridge towards Black Hill and Manaton. Lunch in Kes Tor Inn. After lunch walk over Hayne Down, Bowermans Nose, Jays Grave, Hound Tor, Smallacombe Rocks. Finish at 4pm. Day 3 Half Day Walk Walk around Yarner Wood Back to hotel for lunch. The combined price including 2 nights bed & breakfast and all meals will be £440 for standard room and £480 for a superior room. Remember, if you have a dog it’s welcome at the Edgemoor as well. |
