The meal and the service were excellent, and being able to congregate by the log fires, both in the bar beforehand and in the lounge afterwards was great as it meant that people had plenty of opportunity to mingle. I have had a couple of letters and e mails from members present (which hasn't happened before) praising the choice of venue  and the high standard of food and service.
